Pop music fans have been left speechless after Shout hitmaker Lulu claimed that her famous Bee Gees star ex Maurice Gibb fathered a secret son while they were still in a relationship. Appearing on The Louis Theroux Podcast this week, Lulu shared the bombshell allegations after the couple never had children themselves.

Lulu and Maurice were married for six years, divorcing in 1975 before she went on to tie the knot with John Frieda in 1977. That marriage also ended in 1991, after they welcomed son Jordan together.

During the podcast appearance, Louis asked Lulu: “You know, we’re not always our best selves and that Morris, I think it’s openly acknowledged now, had a fling with Barbara Windsor while he was with you.”

She responded: “I think he’s got a son. It might have happened when we were married. I just found out. Someone showed me something with a guy, and I can’t remember the year he impregnated this girl after a one-night stand, and she has a son who has had his genes taken. It’s proven he’s 100% Morris.”

Gobsmacked, Louis asked: “While he was with you?” and Lulu said: “I didn’t do the math because it wasn’t that important. Today, c’est la vie.”

Maurice died in 2003 at the age of just 53, suffering a cardiac arrest at home in Miami.

He had two children publicly with his second wife Yvonne Spenceley, daughter Samantha and son Adam. In 2019, however, Nick Endacott-Gibb came forward with the bombshell claim he was also Maurice’s son.

Nick was adopted as a baby and claims a DNA test showed a “100% match” with Maurice’s son Adam.
