Vladimir Putin’s leading attack dog is calling for Russian military strikes on Britain after the humiliating use of UK-supplied Storm Shadow missiles to destroy a key Kremlin war factory.

Prime time TV host Vladimir Solovyov was unleashed after the dictator faced ignominy over seven direct hits on a key Silicon El microelectronics plant.

Russian air defences failed to down any of the missiles which hit the facility 75 miles from the Ukrainian border.

"It is emphasised that the attack is carried out by Storm Shadow,” said Putin’s top propagandist Solovyov.

“Everyone should know that this is the British plan, and the British are behind it.

“We understand who is directing Storm Shadow? The British.”

The plant makes hi-tech components for multiple Russian missiles including Iskanders, S-300 and S-400s, Pantsirs, and Bulavas.

The attack came in a phase of the war when Ukraine is inflicting unprecedented damage on assets deep inside Russia.

Calling for strikes against Britain, Solovyov demanded: “Why haven't we wiped the place where this **** is produced off the face of the earth yet?

“Why didn’t we strike a blow against British interests, so to speak, politely…. What are we afraid of? NATO is at war with us in full force…

“There's no need to be afraid.

“But what's the point of hitting the stick [Ukraine] if you need to hit the person holding the stick [Britain] on the head?”

This came as Ukraine overnight struck at an oil transshipment complex - just as Putin seeks to cash in on a rise in the oil price due to the conflict in Iran.

The Tikhoretskaya was hit by repeated explosions then seen in flames as an inferno ignited at the hub for exports.

The Transneft facility is one of the largest in southern Russia and critical for oil supplies to shadow fleet tankers in the Black Sea.

Earlier, Putin’s favourite resort Sochi faced a 26-hour barrage of Ukrainian drones, according to reports.

Russia hit Ukraine with horror strikes leading to yet more civilian casualties.

A girl, 15, was killed in the Chernihiv region, and her grief-stricken parents wounded.

In a Russian drone strike on Shostka police station in Sumy region, more than 40 Ukrainian law enforcement officers were wounded.

Civilians, including children aged 11 and 13, were wounded in a Russian strike on the Zaporizhzhia region.
