Iran's busiest airport has been engulfed in a huge fireball after being bombarded by relentless overnight strikes as Donald Trump demanded Tehran's "unconditional surrender". Footage from Tehran’s Mehrabad airport shows a burning plane and plumes of thick smoke rising into the sky.
Satellite imagery taken on Friday shows multiple aircraft were at the airport. It is unclear at this moment in time which parts of the airport have been bombed. The Israel Defense Forces said more than 80 fighter jets carried out a “broad-scale wave of strikes” on Iranian military sites, missile launchers and other targets in Tehran and central Iran on Saturday.
