Several US military jets crashed in Kuwait, the country's Ministry of Defence has claimed. It said all crew members survived.
Search-and-rescue operations were immediately initiated by relevant authorities, according to Kuwait’s defence ministry spokesperson, Colonel Saud Al-Atwan. He said the crews were evacuating from the crash sites and transferred to hospital to assess their condition, where they were provided "necessary medical care". He added that they were in a “stable” condition.
Al-Atwan said Kuwait was in direct coordination with US authorities.
