Kelly Osbourne has fired back at online trolls following harsh remarks about her appearance at the previous night's Brit Awards. The 41-year-old attended the music awards event in Manchester to accept a special Lifetime Achievement award posthumously on behalf of her father, Ozzy Osbourne. She was spotted on the red carpet alongside her mother, Sharon Osbourne, 73, donning a full-length black gown which she paired with a black feathered stole jacket and several gold necklaces, including a crucifix.

Whilst Kelly didn't specify the comments she had received, she later posted a statement on Instagram expressing that she felt 'dehumanised' during what she described as 'the worst time in my life.' Taking to Instagram, she penned: "There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something. Kicking me whilst I'm down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, and turning your back when I need support and love most. None of it proves strength; it only reveals a profound absence of compassion and character. I'm currently going through the hardest time in my life. I should not even have to defend myself. But I won't sit here and allow myself to be dehumanised in such a way.", reports the Mirror.

This isn't the first instance of Kelly using social media to confront trolls since the passing of her father Ozzy last year. The Black Sabbath frontman died at the age of 76 in July 2025, just a fortnight after his final performance with the band.

Following an appearance at London Fashion Week several days earlier, Kelly revealed one cruel individual had commented she resembled 'a dead body'.

Publishing the distasteful remark on her Instagram account after being hounded by speculation she's been using weight loss injections, Kelly hit back: "Literally can't believe how disgusting some human beings are! No one deserves this sort of abuse!".

Accompanying her statement, she shared a selection of supporters' responses defending her and condemning the appalling message. Nevertheless, Kelly was understandably rattled by the offensive insult, as she added: "This too shall pass, but like, holy f**k."

In addition to the Lifetime Achievement honour at the Brits, Kelly's father Ozzy was also celebrated with a special performance by former bandmates throughout his career - which was led by his friend Robbie Williams.

Catching audiences off guard by performing Ozzy's classic No More Tears, Robbie adopted a more rock-oriented style and captivated home viewers with his interpretation of the song he was personally asked to deliver by Ozzy's wife Sharon.

Delivering a heartfelt tribute to her spouse of 43 years, Sharon addressed the crowd: "I'm honoured to accept this award for my gorgeous husband. God knows I wish he was here to accept it himself - so you've got the booby prize, me doing it."

She continued: "Ozzy was authentic. He was gifted, totally unpredictable, a wild man. He was a true artist.

"He came from a small, working class neighbourhood in Birmingham, and he rose to become one of the most recognisable and respected musicians of his life.

"His life was filled with extraordinarily wonderful high times, but very, very real low times, but he never stopped tirelessly pushing himself to do better. To be honest with you, he was the most humble egomaniac you could ever meet, and yes, at the end of the day, he will always be a rock star."

Concluding her address with Ozzy's signature farewell, Sharon said: "As Ozzy would say at the end of every show - I love you all, and God bless you."
