A man who escaped from police custody twice in a single week appears to have taunted his former captors in a drill rap video. Daniel Boakye, 21, made off from West Middlesex University Hospital but was caught a day later.

Five days later Boakye slipped out of Lewisham Hospital in south east London where he was being treated by medics. Using the drill name dsavv, Boakye uploaded a drill video to the internet last week in which he appeared to taunt Scotland Yard.

A second video appears to have been released this week in which Boakye appears in the back of a car bragging about his escape from the police.

Lyrics include the line: "I'm a boss so I always find my way. I'm that guy - the boss of the UK".

In response to the video, one less than impressed listener commented Boakye needed to be arrested just for the lyrics alone.

London's Metropolitan Police said officers are still searching for Boakye.

A spokesperson for the force appealed to the public to help locate him.

They said officers chased Boakye but were unable to catch him and he left the area.

The spokesperson said: "He is described as a black man of a slim build and was last seen wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a dark Nike jacket."

Scotland Yard's Directorate of Professional Standards has been informed of the escape.

An internal review is being carried out to understand the sequences of events which led to Boakye's escape.
