The Night Agent returns to Netflix for a third instalment, with the action-packed thriller seeing Gabriel Basso reprise his role as agent Peter Sutherland, encountering a host of compelling characters on a perilous mission fraught with fatalities.
In the wake of a series of terrorist attacks, he enlists the assistance of financial journalist Isabel De Leon to aid his investigation, with Isabel being portrayed by 38 year old American actress Genesis Rodriguez.
She launched her career in leading roles for the American-Spanish broadcaster Telemundo, appearing in Prisionera, Dame Chocolate and Doña Bárbara.
The actress is perhaps best recognised for her roles as Sarah in Entourage, Jane Walker in Time After Time, Captain Josephina Carrillo in Lioness and Sloane Hargreeves in The Umbrella Academy.
Born in Miami, Florida in 1987, her mother - Luisa Carolina "Carol" Pérez Rodríguez - is a Cuban model. Her parents tied the knot in 1996, with her father being a celebrated actor and singer in his own right.

Her father is José Luis Rodríguez, a Venezuelan singer and actor fondly known by his nickname El Puma (The Cougar), who has amassed an impressive catalogue of international hits throughout his career.
The 83 year old star has also served as a coach and mentor on the Argentine, Peruvian and Chilean editions of The Voice.
Fans may also recognise him from his appearance as a judge on The X Factor Chile. He may be soaring to success now, but the star came from extremely humble beginnings, earning money by polishing shoes and packing bags at supermarkets.
Whilst he didn't excel in his studies, he honed his talents as a vocalist and performer, gradually building a following in the late 60s.
He subsequently travelled to Puerto Rico, where he appeared in the Telenovela Cristina Bazán, and it was during this period he acquired his nickname El Puma.
The star's primary source of income came from his music career, with massive hits including Dueño de nada, Pavo real and Agárrense de las manos.
In May 2009, the star established himself in the US when he joined the cast of the miniseries, Gabriel, created for the Hispanic market in America.
Alongside Genesis Rodriguez, he is also father to actresses Lilibeth and Liliana Rodríguez, whom he shares with his former wife Lila Morillo.
