Simon Cowell's former long-time colleague Louis Walsh has unleashed a brutal rant on the famous TV judge and declared that he's not heard from him in a long time. Once the dream team of Simon, Louis, and Sharon Osbourne, the trio hosted The X Factor for years, but over time their relationship drifted; now Louis allegedly has a lot to say against his former pal, including a brutal statement that Britain's Got Talent is "not what it was". 

The show has been bringing in approximately 5.5million viewers still, however it has dropped down from an incredible high of 13.1million in 2013. It's reported that Louis said that it's not something people care about as much and claimed that while he was "incredible in his prime", he doesn't have the "same instinct now". 

Louis warned that the issue with Simon's career is that he's "surrounded by people who won't tell him the truth anymore", according to The Sun. In texts seen by The Sun on Sunday, it was reported that Louis said Simon was "done now", as he fumed: "He is surrounded by fakes". 

It was also reported that he claimed Lauren is "in charge of his diary and his phone" as he raged that he hadn't heard from him in years. Louis last worked on X Factor in 2017 after an on-off stint on the show, working on it from 2004-2014 and then again from 2016-2017.

His latest alleged digs at Simon isn't the first time, with him saying to the publication prior to entering the Celebrity Big Brother house that he "thinks the world of him" but he has his faults and stated: "His face has changed so much".

He said: "I've always had a fantastic time with him. I wouldn't be here but for him, but I'll gossip as much as I can about him, as often as I can... as safely as I can." 

And he kept the promise, having made comments about Simon on air with Sharon Osbourne, who had declared she would not work with him again for "all the money in the world" and said he "doesn't know how to keep friends". Louis had also complained that Simon got Beyonce to perform on the show for Cheryl, which he wasn't happy about because he wanted to "beat her". 

He previously stated after his exit from CBB that he hadn't heard from Simon, which he has now reiterated almost two years on.
