Armed police swarmed a seaside town in Northumberland on Tuesday. Several officers are attending an incident near the seafront in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea.
Pictures from the town show armed officers near The Horseshoe Steps on Windsor Road. The nature of the incident was not immediately clear. The officers in attendance were spotted in the area as well as launching a drone, Chronicle Live reports.
