Topshop is making a long-awaited return to the UK high street today after closing the last of its standalone stores in 2021. The iconic fashion brand will appear in all of John Lewis's 32 department stores on Tuesday (February 17) as part of a partnership between the two brands.
The large scale relaunch of its in-person shopping offering is part of an expansion of new brands for the coming spring/summer season as John Lewis continues a £800 million long-term investment across its branches. It comes after the John Lewis Partnership confirmed the department store business would be teaming up with Topshop last year, starting with pop-ups in several of its stores.

Topshop and its sister brand Topman, which are seen by many as defining noughties fashion stores, disappeared from the high street after its former owner Arcadia went into administration in 2021.
The brand was subsequently bought by current owner Asos who sold Topshop products online.
But in the early months of 2025, Topshop began teasing a return to physical retail, before launching a residency in London department store Liberty and weeks later announced its agreement to appear in John Lewis stores.
Topshop will be available across all of John Lewis's 32 shops, with Topman available in seven of its stores. Express.co.uk has reached out to John Lewis and Topman to confirm which stores will be selling Topman.

The launch will cover a collection of 130 of Topshop's "most in-demand pieces". This includes their signature denim items.
As part of the launch, Topshop and Topman products will also be available across John Lewis's online platforms.
Topshop managing director Michelle Wilson said: "Today is about making it easier for customers to access the Topshop and Topman pieces they love. From our cult denim to new-season footwear, you can see it, feel it and take it home the same day.
"Partnering with John Lewis brings Topshop back to high streets across the UK with the level of service our customers expect."
The brand's arrival in stores across the country coincides with London Fashion Week and will be followed by a "takeover" of Piccadilly Circus in London, as well as activations elsewhere across the country.
Peter Ruis, managing director of John Lewis, said: "This moment marks a significant acceleration of our fashion ambition at John Lewis.
"To be the exclusive home of an iconic brand like Topshop, sat alongside other exciting new brands, signals our commitment to be the definitive style authority on the British high street."
John Lewis is also introducing 14 new fashion, jewellery and accessory labels ahead of this season as it looks to expand its fashion offer.
It follows a major redesign of the fashion floors at the department store chain's flagship shop on Oxford Street.
