A street in Nottingham has been cordoned off by police officers following an incident. Motorists have been urged by the force to "avoid the area" and residents are expected to see the area in the city centre to remain locked down for several hours.
Nottinghamshire Police issued a short statement just after 5am on Thursday, February 12, to say they are in attendance in Talbot Street between Wollaton Street and Clarendon Street. A cordon is in place, and the force hasn't yet specified the nature of the incident, NottinghamshireLive reports.
