The presenter shake-up comes after ITV confirmed major changes to their daytime programmes, including GMB, which was extended by 30 minutes every weekday.

As a result, Lorraine Kelly's titular talk show has been reduced from an hour to 30 minutes.

While Loose Women continues to air between 12.30pm and 1.30pm, the panel show was reduced to just 30 weeks of new episodes per year, which means it will be off the air for 22 weeks in cost-cutting measures.
