Anti-monarchy protestors gathered outside Buckingham Palace today, putting yellow 'crime scene' tape on the railings and holding a large banner reading: "Charles, what are you hiding?" The planned protest by pressure group Republic saw just a handful of protestors gather outside Monarchy HQ in London in response to the latest release of Epstein files by the US Department of Justice.
Republic is demanding full disclosure of Epstein's connections and Andrew's alleged visits from trafficked girls. The former prince denies wrongdoing.
Speaking for Republic today, their CEO Graham Smith said: “We need full disclosure of Epstein's links to members of the royal family. Secrecy is the default position for the royals. They don't believe the public have a right to know what they're up to, and they don't want their secrets seeing the light of day.
"The stakes are now too high to tolerate that secrecy any longer. We need full disclosure from the royals."
The disgraced Andrew told convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein that he wanted to be his "pet" in an email among the 3million documents released as part of the Epstein files.
The King's brother made the uneasy remark in a note to the disgraced financier in August 2010, which appears to show him discussing an unspecified business deal in London.
The email, which was dated from May 8, 2011, read: "Stuff bad for [Andrew's] girls. Got police protection taken away. Queen [Elizabeth] said np royal list, get a job. [Sarah Ferguson] has a specific question for you. [Andrew] is sad and frustrated.
"Considering abdication, but he's like a zoo animal, no way, especially now, for him to thrive."
Three million pages, 180,000 images and 2,000 videos were posted publicly, and one shocking photo showed Andrew kneeling over a woman on all fours, who was lying on the floor with her arms flat out beside her.
