Princess Kate has presented the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design at London's 180 Studios - marking a subtle show of support to Victoria Beckham amid her family's fiery feud. The 43-year-old royal stepped out in an £1,340 olive suit designed by Victoria Beckham - and has been dubbed "a real style icon" following her appearance by award winner Patrick McDowell.

As the latest recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design, Victoria Beckham - formerly one-fifth of the Spice Girls - runs a luxury sustainable fashion brand. The 51-year-old has dressed fellow celebrities such as Lady Gaga and Keira Knightle.

The Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design, which took part this morning in London, recognises and celebrates designers making a positive impact on the environment.

A source close to the Beckhams has now spoken out, saying that they thought it was "really great" that Princess Kate had chosen to support the luxury brand.

The source said: "The Princess of Wales has worn Victoria's designs before and it's really great to see that she's wearing one again, especially as the outfit was not gifted and was very much her own call to wear it.

"Both couples support each other's charities and David and William are friends too, so there is a great deal of mutual respect there."

Completing her look, Kate - whose appearance was previously unannounced - wore her long brunette hair perfectly curled. The future Queen also accessorised with statement pearl drop earrings.

Kate's outing comes after recent reports of a sad feud between Victoria and David Beckham and their eldest son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz.

With the family celebrating the football legend's 50th birthday earlier this month, Brooklyn was reportedly nowhere to be seen.

Victoria is reportedly "heartbroken" at the fall-out with her daughter-in-law, who married Brooklyn in 2022.
