Susan Boyle looked completely different from her 2009 Britain's Got Talent audition while attending Street Soccer Scotland's Women Inspired Gala. The I Dreamed A Dream singer impressed in a stylish hot pink suit, showcasing her freshly straightened hair and fashionable blunt-cut fringe as she posed for photographs with singer Tamzene. Susan appeared positively radiant, with her flawless skin complemented by bronzed makeup.

In the caption, Susan typed: "I had a great time at the @streetsoccerscotland Ladies Lunch last week. The work they do is just incredible. They are changing the lives of so many disadvantaged people around the country. Please get behind them in any way you can. Also, it was great to hear and meet the wonderful and talented @tamzene. A beautiful singer-songwriter. All the best for the future, Tamzene," she added.

Her transformation amazed fans; some even mistook her for another Scottish showbiz icon. One fan exclaimed, "You look like Lorraine Kelly's long-lost twin!" Another commented, "You look lovely, Susan." A third typed: "Looking glamorous, Susan."

The Ladies Lunch returned for its sixth year and was hosted by Alison Walker. The event also saw body positivity activist Bryony Gordon and TV host Gail Porter give inspiring speeches ahead of Mental Health Awareness Week, which runs from May 12 to Sunday, 18.

Mental Health is something that has impacted Susan over the years, and she has been open about her life at the end of BGT, admitting to suffering a range of mental health problems that were brought on by the stress of her rapid rise to fame.

Susan was also diagnosed with ASD in 2013, and told Lorraine Kelly on her ITV show in 2019: "I feel a lot better now, thank you. I've had my moments when I've needed help, and I've reached out and got the help I needed, and I can only thank them for my recovery."

Susan told how her mental health battle nearly led to her quitting BGT in the middle of the series.

"I was all set to quit the show. You've got a lot of pressure and many different things at once. It is difficult," she told Nine News. Her autism diagnosis came as a massive relief to Susan, who for years believed she had "quite serious brain damage".

For the BGT season finale last year, Susan returned to the stage of the show that made her name and performed I Dreamed A Dream alongside the West End cast of Les Misérables. She'd taken a break from the spotlight following her last album in 2019 and, during her return to the stage, revealed that she had suffered a stroke the previous April.

However, Susan's poor health was not as much of a secret in the celebrity world as Simon Cowell confirmed when he knew she wasn't well, as he thanked her for coming. Speaking of her performance, the talent judge said: "Unbelievable, Susan. We owe you so much, and I knew you weren't well, but if anyone were going to come back, you would come back because we wouldn't be the same without you! You are amazing."
