A section of the M4 motorway has been closed in both directions following a crash, with emergency services - including the air ambulance - on the scene.
Following a collision near Reading, both the eastbound and westbound carriageways have been shut. National Highways said motorists could be delayed for up to 45 minutes.
A National Highways spokesperson said: "The M4 Berkshire is closed: Eastbound: between J11 Three Mile Cross Interchange (Reading (C & S), Basingstoke A33) and J10 Winnersh Interchange (Reading (E), Wokingham, Bracknell A329(M)) and Westbound: between J8/9 Holyport Interchange (High Wycombe A404(M); Maidenhead A308(M)) and J10 Winnersh Interchange (Reading (E), Wokingham, Bracknell A329(M)). Thames Valley Police, West Berkshire Fire & Rescue, South Central Ambulance Service and Thames Valley Air Ambulance are attending the scene, alongside National Highways Traffic Officers who are assisting with traffic management."
