Prince Louis appeared to mirror his dad, Prince William, with a "dramatic" gesture today during the VE Day celebrations in London. The youngest child of the Prince and Princess of Wales joined his family and the rest of the royals in the capital earlier today, to watch a military procession and a RAF flypast as the nation came together to celebrate the end of the Second World War.

Louis looked all grown up in a navy suit, colour matching his siblings and father, as he took his seat in the royal box. But, even though he may have entertained royal watchers with his widely adored antics, he made a particular gesture which stood out, according to an expert.

Body language expert Judi James told the Express that the Wales family appeared more united during their appearance today.

She explained: "William, Kate and their three children looked like an even tighter royal unit than ever, thanks to Louis's more grown-up behaviour and George's disappearing traits of shyness."

But the expert added that Louis's behaviour showcased a "very telling sign" when he made a particular gesture towards his father.

Louis, who during past public appearances has stolen the show, did not disappoint royal fans and was seen at one moment sticking out his tongue - a trademark gesture for the young royal.

He also held William's gold aiguillettes, the braided loops hanging from the shoulder of his RAF uniform, and appeared to touch his father's shoulder again, and also held out his hands palms up as if he was testing for rain, which later fell.

Ms James claimed that that particular gesture was a sign of a "pecking order glow-up".

She explained: "Louis sat looking serious and engrossed for most of the parade although there was one very telling sign of a 'pecking order glow-up' when he suddenly set about dusting or brushing a mark off the shoulder of his father's jacket in a dramatic, emphatic ritual that made him look more like the fussy, caring dad."
