David and Victoria Beckham have shared a number of adorable snaps from his 50th birthday celebrations without their son, Brooklyn. The former England football star marked the special occasion by hiring out the Core Restaurant in Kensington on Saturday evening. He was joined by several A-listers, including Tom Cruise, Guy Ritchie, Eva Longoria, and Gordon Ramsay. However, fans noted that his eldest son, Brooklyn, and his wife, Nicola Peltz, did not attend the star-studded event. David and the rest of his family had flown into London from the South of France on David's actual birthday, but Brooklyn was also nowhere to be seen.
The Beckhams have now broken their silence with a series of heart-warming images on Instagram. They wrote, "Creating special memories with family and friends. We love you all. @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven xx."
In the first snap, Victoria and David are seen in the South of France with their children Cruz, Romeo, and Harper Seven. Other images show David beaming as he is accompanied by his parents, Ted and Sandra.
One image shows David's son Romeo carrying a birthday cake decorated with candles, whilst the next slide shows David enjoying a fancy lunch on a rooftop balcony with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
Naturally, many of his followers reacted to his post in the comments section, with some asking where Brooklyn was. One person said, "Brooklyn is going to regret missing these moments." [sic]
A second also similarly said, "Beautiful photos. Brooklyn will come to regret being with his family on these special occasions…" A third then said, "Harper Seven she's gonna be just like her gorgeous Mama xx."
Last month, David kicked off his 50th birthday celebrations by throwing a glitzy party in Miami, Florida. He gathered his friends and family for a black-tie bash at the city's Cipriani Socialista lounge, but Brooklyn was nowhere to be seen.
It was reported by TMZ that Brooklyn is in an ongoing feud with his brother, Romeo, 22. The siblings had allegedly fallen out over Brooklyn's suspicions surrounding Romeo's current girlfriend, Kim Turnbul.
Speaking exclusively to the Express, a source has said: "David and Victoria already knew Brooklyn wouldn't be at the big party in Paris. Brooklyn had already celebrated his dad at a private smaller family event.
"Nevertheless both Victoria and David were disappointed that it has gotten to this and they can feel a wedge growing between them. Apparently Victoria has said she doesn't want this fall out to become like Prince Harry and the royals with their son living in America with his wife while his family stay in the UK."
The Beckhams spent Christmas in the US with Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz for a sun-soaked break in the Sunshine State.
