Reform UK gained its foothold in the local elections after seizing hundreds of seats in a series of victories that have redrawn the political map of Britain. With Nigel Farage having fought a successful campaign the party made huge gains across England even winning the Runcorn and Helsby by-election by just six votes, beating Starmer’s party after a dramatic recount, overturning a Labour majority of 14,000.

Declaring a new dawn for politics Nigel Farage has now issued a seven word warning, giving voters a snapshot into what Reform will do with its new power. Promising to be “radical” Mr Farage told voters “things are going to be very different” in a simple seven-word suggesting a dramatic switch up. Telling DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) officers “look for another job” the Reform leader did not hold back on the changes he wants to see implemented.

In a bombshell interview with BBC Breakfast Mr Farage said: “We are going to be quite radical.

“If you work from home forget it, if you’re a DEI officer I suggest you look for another job.

“So things are going to be different, we can’t wave magic wands and don’t pretend too. But it will be a very different approach than the Labour Government”.

In response one user took to X to say: "Reform’s taken the reins in UK councils! Let’s show them how it’s done".

"This is music to the ears of the vast majority of the hard-working British public", said another.

After a series of stunning victories in the local elections Nigel Farage said Reform UK is “now the main opposition party".

Mr Farage said: “It’s been a big night for us.

“We’ve dug very deep into the Labour vote and, in other parts of England, we’ve dug deep into the Conservative vote, and we are now, after tonight there’s no question, in most of the country, we are now the main opposition party to this Government.”

Following a hard night for Kemi Badenoch's Conservative party The Tory leader wrote in The Telegraph: "I'm deeply sorry to see so many capable, hard-working Conservative councillors lose their seats. They didn't deserve it - and they weren't the reason we lost."
