Eamonn Holmes has updated his fans after the GB News host was admitted to hospital on Friday. The former This Morning presenter, 65, suffered a fall in his bathroom and was immediately rushed to hospital in an ambulance on Friday. He has since taken to Instagram and shared a candid selfie while in his hospital bed where the broadcaster could be seen wearing a white shirt while resting. He reassurred fans he is doing well before making a heartfelt plea after being inundated with messages of support.
Eamonn admitted "life's not easy" but didn't divulge any further details about his condition. His 777,000 followers flocked to his comment section as they offered their well wishes to the veteran anchor who has suffered a number of health woes over the years. He captioned the post: "Not how I wanted to be spending The Holiday weekend... but life’s not easy these days [sad face emoji]. Thanks to everybody who is looking after me."
One user wrote: "Take care lovely man," while another penned: "Hope you start to feel better soon."
A third penned: "Not how u wanted it but obviously in need of it... Rest up you."
A fourth shared: "Get well soon," while a fifth added: "Speedy recovery Eamonn."

Eamonn previously shared a photo from inside the ambulance which he captioned: "An unexpected journey this morning... bit of a fall on the bathroom floor. Gosh it hurts. Thank you Ambulance crew."
He has been open up about his health struggles in the past as Eamonn has continued to struggle with his mobility, a chronic condition that began in 2021, which forced him to use a stick to help him walk and he is often pictured at events in a wheelchair or using a walker.
The pain was caused by a dislocated pelvis, which later resulted in him sustaining three slipped disks. Eamonn then underwent spinal surgery in 2022 to address the pain.
While recovering from the surgery, the presenter fell down the stairs at his home in Weybridge and broke his shoulder, leading to another spine and neck procedure.
