Princess Charlotte will be surrounded by her nearest and dearest today as she celebrates her 10th birthday. The only daughter of Prince William, 42, and Princess Kate, 43, is likely to celebrate the special occasion with her parents, along with her siblings Prince George, 11, and Prince Louis, seven.

Charlotte, whose full name is Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, was born at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London, and weighed 8lb 3oz. At the time of her birth, she was fourth in line to the throne, and is now third in line.
