As we age, the skin on our face can develop fine lines, lose firmness and become more dry, and the sensitive skin around our eyes are ususally the first area to see the signs. French beauty brand RoC has developed a product to tackle these issues and customers heaped praises on the results.

Some shoppers might choose retinol over hydrating ingredients to erase fine lines and wrinkles. The RoC eye cream is a dermatologist-recommended solution formulated with caffeine and hyaluronic acid, perfect for a range of skin types.

Sealed in an aluminium tube, the eye cream is clinically proven to address signs of ageing around the eyes. With peptides to visibly firm and contour, testers said it "instantly reduces the appearance of eye bags and puffiness". The 1.5% hyaluronic acid works to visibly fill fine lines while caffeine helps to de-puff the eye area with time.

For those wanting a mess-free application, Refy's Eye Balm, £18, comes in a stick format that offers a cooling sensation when applied under eyes. Or, for a splurge option that tackles deep-set wrinkles, consider the BioEffect EGF Eye Serum for £72, which is designed to stimulate cellular turnover. It has a roll-on design and gel formula.

The RoC Multi Correxion Hydrate + Plump Eye Cream is loved by board-certified dermatologist Dr Scott Walter who said: "Puffiness under the eyes is such a common complaint I hear from patients, and I routinely recommend the Multi Correxion Hydrate & Plump Eye Cream because it contains two things: caffeine which is key to soothe puffiness and then hyaluronic acid to plump and smooth fine lines."
